'Walking the Talk'

Practise what you Preach

Is you coach going to be someone who not only has experienced something of life, but has also actively been able to put into effect the ideas and practices which he or she is going to ask you to implement.

Coaches, like everyone, have different personal histories and they can work with a variety of different problems and issues that they may not have had direct experience.

However it may be important that they have worked on their own share of crises and have utilised coaching processes themselves and know their effects.

Whilst a professional coach will actively keep their ‘stuff’ out of your issues it is important that they can demonstrate the credibility of learning through their own life experiences so if you choose to consult AHA! Coaching ask us about our experience with the kind of issues you face.

You will be able to judge from the response you get whether we truly believe the messages we are passing on to you.

When considering a coach's experience it is also worth bearing in mind that some coaches are, perhaps rather wisely, tending to specialise, to play to their strengths.

Some help improve personal relationship situations, some are healers, others focus on helping young adults. We, at AHA! Coaching, specialise on people in work situations, business professionals or business-owners who want to make personal or professional changes to their lives.

AHA! coaches however will always have the whole person in mind when assisting someone in their growth and development.
